Joey is the T10 Paraplegic as the result of Lyme Disease. We spoke with him about the delayed progression of the disease that led to his Paraplegia, getting involved with Adaptive Strongman competitions, and qualifying for the Strongman World Championships and raising money to travel to Orlando for the competition. Episode 153 Adrion Garcia

We talked about a number of topics from the history of Frank's Landing where the infamous "fishing wars" happened to an update on the statue of his father Billy Frank Jr. We also discussed his recent trip to Washington DC to meet with other Tribal Leaders and President Biden. Willie told us about how the Biden administration has been the most friendly administration in history for Native American Tribes, some of the big issues facing Indian Country, and how he is putting a focus on the children of his Tribe and uniting people across all boundaries.
