We spoke with Dr. McCulloh about the fall that left him paralyzed, overcoming the obstacles to attend medical school after suffering the injury, and dealing with a pandemic while working in a hospital with a spinal cord injury. Episode 84 Lenny Redrose

This week on the Live to Walk Again Podcast we had the opportunity visiting with Lenny Redrose who is a T4 paraplegic and Australian Army Veteran. We spoke to Lenny about how he suffered a spinal cord injury, competing again in sports from wheelchair Aussie Rules Football to Spartan races, and a company named RedTops that he's involved with providing work opportunities for people in the paralysis community. We also talked about his work as a peer mentor, real life with a spinal cord injury versus social media, and overcoming addiction. Episode 81 Dr. Fatma Inanici (UW Medical)

This week we had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Fatma Inanici from the University of Washington who is conducting a transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation study to restore hand and arm function in cervical level spinal cord injuries. We spoke about the trials that have been completed and their success, the next set of trials getting ready to begin, and the role this technology could play in restoring some lower body functionality. Please Do Not try any of this at home with electrodes or a TENS unit, they are using special layered electricity to prevent injury.
